The project requires replacement of wiring, electrical components, gas piping, duct work, and sound attenuation components to bring two backup generators online at the St. Mary Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the Rising Sun booster pumphouse. The St. Mary WWTP generator requires a new transfer switch, connecting components, gas piping to the regulator, and an exhaust pipe to the existing muffler. The Rising Sun generator requires a new transfer switch and connecting components but no muffler (outdoor installation), with gas piping connecting to a propane tank and two line reactors installed inside the pump house. The contract is set aside as 100% small business, with a NAICS code of 236220 and a small business size standard of $45 million. The contract magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance of work must commence within 10 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 60 calendar days. The anticipated period of performance is September 20, 2026 through November 19, 2026, with delivery required by November 19, 2026 at Glacier National Park in West Glacier, Montana.
Proposals are due by 10:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time on August 24, 2026, submitted via email to sally_leitch@ios.doi.gov. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 12, 2026. Questions must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. MDT on August 14, 2026. Award will be made to the low-price offeror whose proposal demonstrates price reasonableness as determined by comparison to competitive prices received and the independent Government cost estimate.
