About this file
This document is a Request for Information from the General Services Administration and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam seeking responses from real estate services firms interested in relocating or reusing the building materials from 33 bungalow-style housing units located on the base. The government's objectives are to facilitate preservation of the housing units by relocating them to alternative locations under new owners, allow dismantling and removal of components for reuse, and ensure safe recycling in compliance with federal and state regulations. Respondents are invited to submit ideas that could assist the government in attaining these objectives of preservation, reuse, and regulatory compliance. Interior videos of the housing units are available on the GSA Auction site for reference.

Multi‐Incremental Soil (MIS) Sampling/TCLP Sampling Scope of Work:
1. Sample soil for pesticides and lead at the foundation areas of 33 housing units at Ft. Kam Housing. NAVFAC Compliance requested that 2 decision units (50 Increments of soil for each decision unit) of soil be collected near the foundation line of the buildings. The sampling areas were divided into 2 decision units (DU1 – Units 3339‐3359 & DU2 Units 3320‐3337) per the guidance provided by NAVFAC Compliance.
2. Perform TCLP RCRA 8 metals sampling of building components that would be included in the estimated demolition waste stream. Canec materials were sampled separately per the guidance provided by NAVFAC Compliance.
3. Perform TCLP Arsenic sampling of Canec type building components that would be included in the estimated demolition waste stream.
4. Provide an assessment report for review by customer/POC and applicable command personnel.
