About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Request for Quote (RFQ) #S01CACPROB25-0002, issued by the United States District Court, Central District of California. The Q&A addresses two specific inquiries from potential vendors regarding packaging and delivery requirements for an ammunition procurement. In response to the first question, the government indicates a preference for packaging that includes the distributor's branding/logo. For the second question, the government specifies that acceptable delivery containers are palletized boxed cases, with each case containing 500 rounds.
The solicitation is for the purchase of 9mm and .40 caliber ammunition for the United States Probation & Pretrial Services Office in Los Angeles, CA. The specific requirements include 30,000 rounds of 9mm Full Metal Jacket (135 Grain, Brass Case) for Glock 9mm pistols and 70,000 rounds of .40 Caliber Full Metal Jacket (175 Grain, Brass Case) for Glock .40 Caliber Pistols. The ammunition must be new and not reloaded, to be used by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts.
