2) On page 10 of the solicitation, it is stated that there are between 10 days to up to 30 days to submit certain paperwork? Please clarify?
Answer : The documents listed under 3.0. Deliverables, are the documents which the contractor who is awarded the contract is required to submit. These documents must be submitted within the timeframes specified after contract award and they are as follows:
1. Insurance - 10 days after the award
2. Grounds Maintenance Plan - 30 days after the award
3. List of Personnel - 10 days after the award
4. Transition Plan - 10 days after the award
5. Payment Request - 10 days after the award
* As required by Section 3, paragraph A.3, an offeror must submit with its quotation, a copy of the certificate of insurance or a statement that the contractor will get the required insurance and the names of the insurance provider to be used.
Consequently, if the contractor who is awarded the contract did not provide a copy of the certificate of insurance with its quotation, then it must provide the certificate of insurance within 10 days after the award of the contract.
3) How would a contractor submit a quotation if he/she does not attend a pre-proposal conference and the site visit?
Answer: There is no requirement to attend the pre-proposal conference in order to submit a quotation. Any prospective offeror would need to ensure its written quotation is submitted to the office and address listed in block 9 of the Standard
Form 1449, on or before the solicitation due date and time.
