Questions & Answers 4
Q.1 Please tell us the total salaries for these brackets or simply tell us how much life insurance we will be issuing?
A.1 Section J Exhibit A has been updated with the estimated total life insurance coverage needed per base and option years.
Q.2 Would you confirm the currency for premium and claims histories in Answer#3 of
Amendment #5?
A.2 The currency is in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD).
Q.3 The claims figures from Amendment A001, A004 and A005 are all different. Please provide background to uncertainty and the process of arriving at these numbers? Are these figures not provided by the current supplier/vendor?
A.3 These figures were reviewed after they were initially posted. Specifically:
o Changes from A001 to A004 were in Health Insurance estimate amount of claims for 2012-2016. This change was due to a revaluation of monthly data we had on file from 2012-2014 and recent monthly data from the current supplier from 2015-
2016. A001 used yearly data recently provided directly from the supplier.
o Changes A004 to A005 were in Health Insurance estimate amount of claims for
2014-2016. Upon revaluating our calculation, we realized that some of the data had not been incorporated into our equations because of cell formatting errors.
A005 was issued to correct those calculations.
The figures were provided by the supplier, however at different time periods.
Amendment A005 uses data provided in monthly reports during 2012-2014 and recently provided monthly breakdown by the supplier from 2015-2016.
Q.4 Year after year the claims have significantly exceeded the premiums. Was the current supplier denied a review of the claims and premiums?
A.4 No, the current supplier was not denied a review of the claims and premiums. An economic price adjusted (EPA) was requested and granted for the health insurance.
Please refer to sections B.4 and B.8 for details on EPA for the health and life insurance premiums.
