About this file

This document is an Amendment #1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) #C041220 issued by the New York State Department of Health for Mental Health Prescreen and Evaluation Services. The amendment, dated August 13, 2025, modifies two sections of the original bid document: Section 4.1.B.2.b regarding remote mental health evaluations and Section 5.5 addressing the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL).

The key modification to Section 4.1.B.2.b requires bidders to obtain permission from the Department prior to conducting a mental health evaluation remotely if a face-to-face evaluation cannot be completed. The amendment also clarifies the process for bidders to designate proprietary information in their bids that they believe should be exempt from disclosure under FOIL, referencing Section 6.2.10 of the original IFB document.
