Statement of Objectives (SOO)

Smart Tint Project

Goodfellow AFB, TX

1. Introduction

The contractor will provide all labor, parts, supplies, and materials necessary to engineer, design, procure, deliver, and install Smart Tint for 17 MSG Front Office/B430, Rm 214. This includes the install of necessary equipment, hardware, cabling, and power required to operate the system.

The Smart Tint implementation will provide added security and privacy to the front office.

2. Required Work

The Smart Tint Self-Adhesive System has already been purchased and is currently on hand.

Contractor shall install the Smart Tint and install all electrical/wiring components. The work required consists of a site visit/survey, design, planning, delivery, system set-up, testing, cut-over, customer training, and complete documentation of all hardware and software components for the proposed system.

3. Current System - Removal and Install

Currently there is no window tinting system in place.

Smart Tint will be applied on top of current glass with required electrical wiring to go through glass frames.

4. Power Input Requirements

Current power in the building consists of 3 phases 120/208- and 277/480-volt power.

No additional requirements projected.

5. Warranty

Include a labor, parts, and maintenance warranty for ten (10) full years beginning at system install.
