About this file

This is a Small Business Set-Aside Program (SBSP) eligibility document from the State of Illinois, administered through the Chief Procurement Office. The document outlines participation requirements and program details but does not specify particular products, services, quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidders' meetings, award dates, or contract terms, as it functions as a general program guideline rather than a specific solicitation.

This solicitation is exclusively set aside for Illinois businesses registered and active in the Illinois Small Business Set-Aside Program through the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) at the time of bid opening. Vendors must have "Yes" marked under Classifications - Small Business Set-Aside Program (SBSP) Registered to be eligible. Registration is free for qualifying Illinois small businesses. The Chief Procurement Office requires state agencies to limit purchases to SBSP vendors for one-time procurements below $100,000 or for procurements in any of more than 600 designated product or service categories at any dollar amount, including Court Reporting Services. Businesses can verify their SBSP status through the VendorDirectory and register for the program through the IPG at https://ipg.illinois.gov/InitialRegistration.aspx. Active IPG registration alone does not guarantee SBSP program participation.

Registration is free, and qualifying Illinois small businesses are encouraged to enroll to take advantage of these contracting opportunities.

Under certain conditions, the Chief Procurement Office requires state agencies to purchase only from qualified Illinois small businesses. Applying for SBSP is part of registering in the IL Procurement Gateway (IPG). You can register here: https://ipg.illinois.gov/InitialRegistration.aspx For additional questions on SBSP, please email us at CPOGS.Smallbusiness@illinois.gov image1.png
