About this file
This document is a PowerPoint presentation for a bidders conference regarding the Shared Living 2025 (SL-25) contract opportunity issued by the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS). The SL-25 contract replaces the previous PS-15 contract and will provide 24/7 residential support services that match individuals with Shared Living caregivers. Contracts will begin on July 1, 2024, and all existing PS-15 providers must submit qualified proposals by March 28, 2024 to continue providing services. The RFR incorporates requirements from various sources including OQE licensing, CMS core competencies, and the CMS community rule. Shared Living providers are responsible for recruiting, assessing, and training caregivers, as well as coordinating placements and providing ongoing support.
The presentation also covers contract termination procedures, the use of assistive technology, respite and transportation services, and financial management requirements. Proposal requirements include a one-page response to each question, with attachments not counted toward the page limit. Bidders must receive a score of 1 on each question and on the Supplier Diversity Plan to be awarded a contract. Bidders who fail to meet the thresholds will be given an opportunity to submit clarifications before being deemed not qualified.
