About this file

This document is a Site Visit Information notice issued by the City of Atlanta's Department of Aviation (DOA) for the Grease Interceptor Maintenance, Cleaning and Inspection Services project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA). The Pre-Solicitation Conference is scheduled for November 10th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Technical Support Campus located at 1255 South Loop Road, College Park, Georgia 30337. A site tour will immediately follow the conference at approximately 2:00 PM, with an anticipated duration of 90 minutes. The project involves comprehensive grease interceptor maintenance, cleaning, inspection, waste removal and disposal, corrective maintenance, and related services. At contract inception, services will cover 69 grease interceptors, with the total expected to increase to 76 during the contract term. Services include routine pump-outs, pressure washing, piping jetting, system inspections, waste disposal, corrective maintenance, emergency response, and maintenance reporting. Only two representatives per firm are permitted to attend the site tour, and advance registration is required by submitting attendee information including full name, date of birth, title, company name, contact phone number, and company email address to Project Manager Craig Frayall at cfrayall@atlantaga.gov.

All site tour attendees must comply with strict safety requirements, including wearing safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, hard-soled shoes or boots, full-length pants, and sleeved shirts. Attendees with airport-issued badges must wear them during the tour. Free parking is available at the Technical Support Campus, with detailed driving directions provided from multiple directions throughout the Atlanta area. Registered attendees will be escorted by DOA personnel to and from the site, and DOA will provide transportation to the tour site and back to the Tech Campus following the tour's conclusion. The City anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal and seeks qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in comprehensive grease interceptor services within large, complex facilities. The City emphasizes its expectation that the selected contractor provide reliable preventive and corrective maintenance services to maintain proper operating condition, support regulatory compliance, and minimize disruptions to airport operations.
