About this file
This document is a Single Source Justification (Simplified Acquisition) for acquiring a biometric access control system for the SIPRNet at Minot Air Force Base.
The Air Force Global Strike Command requires a solution that allows secure access to SIPRNet computers while keeping the systems locked in a secure location. Trusted Systems can provide the SIPRGuard product, which includes a biometric control unit, gateway modules per laptop, and required cables. This system meets Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) physical security requirements outlined in IA-12.01.01. The Contracting Officer has determined that Trusted Systems is the only reasonably available source for this requirement.
