About this file
The document is a Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Contract issued by the City of Bradenton's Purchasing Division for the Police Department. The city intends to award a single-source contract valued at $125,000.00 to EPIC iO for Surveillance and Detection Hardware and Software License, with an advertisement date of 06/23/2025 and a response deadline of 06/30/2025. Any company believing it can provide comparable goods or services must submit detailed information to the Bradenton Purchasing Department by the response date for evaluation.
The justification for the single-source procurement is that EPIC iO is the sole provider of technology, processes, and specifications essential to the investigative mission. The operating and data repository software has been vetted through the F-RDSTF's Cyber-Security Executive Committee and is currently in use in RDSTF Region 1 within Florida. The document indicates that while this is a sole-source procurement, the city remains open to alternative providers if they can demonstrate equivalent capabilities, potentially leading to a competitive solicitation if such alternatives are identified.
