About this file

This document is a Notice of Award Form for a contract renewal between the Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) and Edenred Commuter Benefit Solutions, LLC. CMS is renewing its contract with Edenred to provide an IRS-approved qualified transportation benefit program for State of Illinois employees. Edenred administers the Commuter Savings Program (CSP), which allows state employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for commuting expenses such as parking and transit. The contract has an initial term of 60 months with 4 renewal options.

The contract value is $430,000. The renewal is part of the Master Contract between the State and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). The contract renewal is based on the purchasing agency's justification that the program provides value to both state employees and the State of Illinois, as the State sees a corresponding reduction in its FICA liability for each dollar employees defer in the program.
