12. Is 3M mandatory brand for the graphics?
We use multiple reputable brands for such graphics, and the price range varies from each brand. The same graphics can be as much as double the cost for the same look and quality from one brand to the other. 3M has multiple lines of reflective vinyl as well, that can meet or exceed the needs of the material for the graphics requested. I would like to give you the most accurate and competitive pricing available as well as help save you money where we can.
Answer: We require the 3M material as listed on Attachment C, columns “Vinyl Material” and “Lamination”, for each of the decals requested. The material and laminate are also listed under each sample in Attachment D.
13. Is the entire graphic one piece printed on reflective, or Is it separately cut reflective so that all colors reflect light? Mostly we print the entire graphics as one piece, but very opaque printed colors such as black have lower reflective properties. If those colors need to reflect we cut them as separate colors.
Answer: Each decal is one piece with all colors being reflective.
