Question #1 What size/model/make generators would we train on?
The Department of States uses a various sizes/makes and models of generators at over 250 worldwide locations. The most common sizes are 60KW-200KW but they can range from 30KW up to 1 megawatt. The course should not be designed for any specific model or manufacture but give the student a general understanding of generator theory, major components and applications.
The vendor may train on a major brand but there is not firm requirement to actually provide hand-ons generator operations. The laboratory may consist of small generator mock-ups suitable for classroom environments.
Question #2 Is the Contractor required to bring each of those generators identified in Question #1 to the training course?
There is no requirement to bring mobile generators to the training site.
