About this file

The document is a Single Feasible Source (SFS) solicitation (No. SFS300319318001321) issued by the State of Missouri's Office of Administration - Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) for ERI/CICS software maintenance services. The solicitation seeks maintenance for three specific software components: CICS-View (a user monitoring tool), CICS-Lock (a terminal time-out management system), and CICS-DupS (a control system for managing shared userids). The procurement period runs from December 12, 2017, at 8:00 PM GMT to December 18, 2017, at 2:00 PM GMT, with all vendors eligible to respond. The contract is structured as a one-year maintenance agreement, with the primary objective of locking emulation sessions after 15 minutes of inactivity to comply with federal security guidelines.

The solicitation does not specify an estimated total contract value or provide detailed pricing information. Delivery terms are free on board destination, with payment terms set at net 45 days. The contact person is Angela Morris from the Jefferson City OA-ITSD office, located at 301 West High Street, Room 280, Jefferson City, MO 65101. No specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or vendor participation restrictions are mentioned. The procurement focuses on maintaining software tools that enable support staff to manage CICS users, broadcast messages, control userid sign-on attempts, and monitor user activity for problem resolution. Vendors are advised that they are solely responsible for ensuring timely submission of their responses, whether submitted online or via hard copy.

Who can respond to this bid? : All Vendors Description: ERI/CICS Software maintenance for:

CICS-View A user monitoring tool that summarizes data on active CICS users in easy-to read tables. Authorized support staff can use table commands to cancel a session, send non-destructive broadcast messages, even view a user's screen.

CICS-Lock A user-friendly alternative to CICS terminal time-out. CICS- Lock replaces unattended CICS terminal screens with a password prompt.

CICS-DupS A flexible control that prevents the abuse of shared userids and allows swapping between CICS applications from a single terminal session.

We use ERI primarily to lock emulation sessions after 15 minutes of inactivity to prevent security incidents and comply with Federal Security guidelines. We also use the product to broadcast messages to users, control how many times a userid can sign on for security purposes and for the Helpdesk to view user activity to help with problem resolution.
