About this file

This document is Amendment 0002 to a federal solicitation (RFP 19SA4026R0008) for preventive maintenance services on switchgear equipment, issued by the American Consulate General Jeddah. The amendment, effective March 12, 2026, incorporates questions and answers received during the solicitation process and extends the proposal submission deadline from March 10, 2026, to March 30, 2026, by 5:00 PM. No proposals will be accepted after this extended deadline.

The questions and answers address key operational details for the switchgear maintenance scope of work. All circuit breakers will be tested during a single site visit rather than multiple mobilizations. Testing requirements include infrared scanning and functional/trip testing in addition to manufacturer-recommended testing such as contact resistance testing. Single Line Diagrams and circuit breaker nameplate data will be provided to the successful contractor rather than beforehand. Most annual maintenance work will occur during off-hours and weekends, though residential-side circuit breakers will be maintained during normal weekdays. The contractor is responsible for supplying spare parts such as batteries and filters as detailed in the Statement of Work. The contract is administered by the American Consulate General Jeddah, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
