1.0.3.2 The Contractor employees shall identify themselves as Contractor personnel by introducing themselves or being introduced as Contractor personnel and displaying distinguishable badges or other visible identification for meetings with Government personnel. In addition, Contractor personnel shall appropriately identify themselves as Contractor employees in telephone conversations and in formal and informal written correspondence.

1.1 BACKGROUND

NSWCPD SEP has been assessed, using SCAMPI A, at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level III every three (3) years since 2003 and in 2018 under CMMI V1.3. The NSWCPD SEP has transitioned to CMMI DEV V3.0 and will see additional CMMI level III assessments in the future. NSWCPD SEP is looking to build workforce competency on CMMI V3.0 and requires CMMI V3.0 CMMI Building Organizational Capability training, with employees certified as CMMI Practitioners to CMMI V3.0. No one at NSWCPD has those credentials. NOTE: The CMMI Institute is a subsidiary of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Additional information on appraisals can be found at https://cmmiinstitute.com/.

1.2 SCOPE OF WORK

NSWCPD will continue to be assessed against the upgraded version of CMMI - CMMI DEV V3.0 - every three (3) years. NSWCPD has a need to build CMMI V3.0 competency across the workforce and having NSWCPD employees attend CMMI V3.0 Building Organizational Capability training would increase CMMI V3.0 employee knowledgebase. It would also assist with continuing to bring NSWCPD SEP and non-SEP guidance, policies, procedures, and activities into alignment with CMMI V3.0. The scope of the work comprises the Contractor conducting this necessary training for NSWCPD employees and the receipt of CMMI Practitioner Certification exam vouchers necessary for NSWCPD employees to become certified as CMMI V3.0 Practitioners.
