About this file
This document is a Section SF 1449 Continuation Sheet for a federal solicitation for textile products, specifically requiring pre-award samples of tri-blend and polyester materials. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Knox is seeking a firm fixed price Requirements Type Contract (RTC) for delivery orders, with award to be made to the lowest aggregate priced, responsive, and responsible offer. Key requirements include submitting two pre-award fabric samples, with all questions due by 9:00 a.m. on 6 October 2025, and strict compliance with the Berry Amendment, which mandates that all processing, manufacturing, components, and materials must be of 100% U.S. origin. Offerors must submit a list of proposed subcontractors and provide an affirmative statement verifying domestic sourcing. The solicitation emphasizes aggressive enforcement, warning that contractors who falsely verify product origin may face termination, criminal fraud charges, and potential debarment from future government contracts.
