Spec Sheet of this RFP.
SECTION 5 - PRICE PROPOSAL / BID TABLE
The vendor must provide their pricing electronically through the designated line items listed on the
Bid Sheet/Pricing Table via the City's e-Procurement portal on OpenGov.
Vendor Notes: The bid table includes a “Vendor Notes” column for any additional comments regarding the requested line item(s). A comment is preferred in the “Vendor Notes” column. If the vendor does not need to submit any comments, they may leave it blank or enter N/A or similar.
Bid Tables: This project contains 3 bid tables.
The first table is for a Cellular Communication Option while the second table is for a Radio
Communication Option. Vendors must price pricing for one of the two options, however they can also submit pricing for both options. If a vendor submits pricing for both options, they would be evaluated along with all of the other proposals/vendors by the Evaluation Committee as an additional submission.
In regard to the third table, vendors must provide a Cost to Provide Payment and Performance Bond for each project phase, in the form of a percent. This percent would be calculated against the submitted line items to determine the total cost of the project, whether the vendor is submitting a cellular or radio communication option, in the evaluation process. In addition, it would be used to determine the cost of the payment and performance bond for the phases that are implemented.
Line Items: The tables contain various line items that are designed to capture any costs that might be involved with purchasing and installing the system along with utilizing the software for a 10-year period. No lines in each of the tables, including lines to the related to the Software, are intended to be repetitive. If a certain line is not applicable, the vendor could select to "No Bid" that line or put a value of $0 and enter information in the Vendor Notes column to address any pertinent information regarding the line item and pricing. Furthermore, vendors are encouraged to ask any questions of clarifications through the OpenGov portal prior to the question due date and attend the non-mandatory pre-bid for clarification.
