About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in Idaho counties (Ada, Boise, Canyon, Gem, and Owyhee) and is effective as of December 3, 2025 (Revision 27, Wage Determination No. 2015-5503).

The wage determination lists approximately 200 occupational classifications across 16 major occupation categories, ranging from administrative and clerical positions to technical occupations, with hourly rates varying from $11.90 (Assembler) to $54.46 (Cable Splicer). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 per week, or $962.00 per month), with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for employees on SCA-covered contracts also covered by Executive Order 13706. Standard benefits include two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years, plus a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer employees (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers with night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), and positions involving hazardous materials with 4-8 percent pay differentials. The determination also specifies requirements for uniform allowances, conformance procedures for unlisted classifications under Standard Form 1444, and references to Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 regarding paid sick leave requirements for federal contractors.
