Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service Oklahoma City Area
Specifications IT Equipment Purchase
1. PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
The Pawnee Indian Health Center (PIHC), Indian Health Services (IHS) has reached a critical point with IT infrastructure where new servers are necessary to maintain efficient and effective clinic operations.
These servers will host virtualized instances of RPMS Resource Patient Management System EHR (Electronic Health Record) and BMW Practice Management software. The primary server will host our production environment, while the secondary server will be configured as a replication/shadow server for both production virtual instances. This configuration adds a critical layer of redundancy to ensure continuity of operations in the event of primary server failure.
This infrastructure is essential to maintain the health application software required for patient care, clinical documentation, and billing functions. Without this procurement, we risk service disruptions that would directly impact patient care delivery and clinic operations.
