Summary of Security Doors Statement of Work
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement and installation of high-security doors at a federal facility (Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dam Neck Activity). The Government requires the supply and installation of multiple door systems to meet current security requirements and achieve STC-50 rating certification. The primary objective is to ensure the perimeter of designated areas is fully compliant with applicable security documents and standards, providing robust, durable doors that meet necessary acoustic, fire-rated, and operational standards.
The Contractor shall provide and install the following door systems: two (2) acoustical door systems with left and right hand entries; four (4) 3'0 x 7'10" right-hand access solid core steel stiffened doors with astragal for front and rear entrances; and four (4) additional 3'0 x 7'10" right-hand access solid core steel stiffened doors with astragal for specified locations. All materials must be new and meet industrial quality standards. Doors must be solid-core high-security steel (no glass) with minimum 16-gauge pressed steel frames, welded and ground smoothly, and anchored to prevent forced entry. Locks must be GSA-approved three-position combination locks or high-security deadbolt/exit devices meeting FF-L-2740B standards. Sound attenuation seals and thresholds must meet acoustic requirements with appropriate STC ratings for threat levels. Installation shall be performed in accordance with OEM specifications, during normal working hours (0800-1500, Monday-Friday), in compliance with applicable Local, State, and Federal safety, electrical, and building codes. Contractor personnel must complete security briefings, maintain positive security standing, wear issued building access badges visibly at all times, return badges daily, and comply with all facility security protocols including OPSEC guidelines, restricted area limitations, and the facility's Workplace Violence Prevention Policy with zero tolerance for threats or harassment.
