About this file

This is a Security Agreement for the Protection of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI), establishing the framework and requirements for contractors to safeguard classified nuclear propulsion data in connection with solicitation SPMYM326Q4076 issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. The agreement outlines mandatory security protocols that contractors must implement to protect NNPI, which is a subset of classified national security information with heightened sensitivity requirements specific to naval nuclear programs.

The security agreement establishes contractor obligations including the designation of a Facility Security Officer, implementation of access controls and compartmentalization procedures, maintenance of secure storage facilities, and compliance with all applicable federal security regulations and Department of Defense directives governing NNPI. Contractors are required to conduct background investigations and security clearances for all personnel with access to NNPI, establish information security programs, maintain audit trails and accountability measures, and report any security incidents or unauthorized disclosures immediately. The agreement specifies that contractors must obtain prior written authorization before subcontracting any work involving NNPI and remain subject to inspection and compliance verification by government representatives. Non-compliance with the security requirements may result in contract termination, debarment, or other remedial actions.
