About this file

This addendum document pertains to a Secondary Clarifier 3 Drive Replacement Project (MI 2646) issued by the City of Thousand Oaks, California Public Works Department. The project requires furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the removal of an existing non-functional Westech clarifier drive unit, installation of a City-provided replacement Westech Model 8050 drive unit, reinstallation of the aerial walkway, replacement of drive electrical connections, and startup and testing. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant in Camarillo, California. The deadline for submitting questions is June 17, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., with bid submissions due electronically by June 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. through the City's OpenGov procurement portal. Project contact information is provided through Paul Weinstein, Associate Analyst, and procurement inquiries should be directed to Cao Nguyen Le, Sr. Purchasing Specialist.

The City has established an engineer's estimate of $175,000 for this project. Bid security is required and may be submitted as an electronic bid bond through Surety2000, an original hard copy of a notarized bid bond on the City's bond form, or certified check, cashier's check, or cash. Bidders are responsible for ensuring bid security is received by the City Clerk Department prior to bid opening, with failure to provide such security resulting in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. Vendors may elect to have bid security returned by mail following award or authorize the City to securely dispose of it. All complete bid documents and required bid forms must be uploaded to the procurement portal by the submission deadline.
