About this file
This is a solicitation document (SDA480011) issued by the Missouri Department of Corrections (DOC) for Community Reentry Funding, a competitive bid opportunity open to all vendors. The solicitation was active from May 13, 2020, to June 9, 2020, seeking community organizations to provide comprehensive reentry services designed to enhance public safety and support offender rehabilitation. Vendors were required to complete and submit Exhibits A through G as part of their bid response, with options to submit proposals either electronically through the MissouriBUYS system or via hard copy to the DOC.
The funding mechanism for selected organizations includes an initial payment of 50% upon award, followed by subsequent 25% payments in January and April, contingent on available expenditures. While the total estimated contract value was not specified, the program aims to support community-based organizations that can provide wrap-around services to help offenders successfully reintegrate into society. The solicitation did not include specific set-asides, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or identify incumbent vendors. The core objective is to support programs that assist offenders in becoming law-abiding citizens by providing comprehensive reentry support services in local Missouri communities.
