About this file
This Scope of Work document outlines the requirements for replacing a hot water tank/boiler at Trumbull Correctional Institution's B-6 mechanical room. The project involves removing an existing Bradford White (Magnum Series) hot water tank/boiler and installing a new Bradford White (Magnum Series) Model#: D80T7253NA with 80-gallon capacity and 725,000 BTU output. The work includes draining and removing the existing unit, installing the new unit, verifying and potentially modifying exhaust flues, connecting gas lines, electrical components, and control wiring, followed by startup testing to ensure proper operation.
The project includes all necessary rigging and comes with a one-year warranty on all parts in conjunction with the manufacturer's warranty. The installation is to be performed during normal working hours, and pricing assumes existing shut-off valves are in working order. No specific pricing terms or funding sources are mentioned in the document.
