About this file

This Scope of Work is a contract opportunity issued by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife for the Powell Road Embankment Reconstruction, Stabilization, Armoring and Water Control Structure Replacement project at Fallsville Wildlife Area in New Vienna, OH. The project requires a contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment to reconstruct a 600-linear-foot wetland embankment, which includes mowing/grubbing vegetation, regrading embankment slopes, placing crushed stone riprap, and replacing an existing water control structure. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with all work to be completed by June 1, 2025. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with the final contracted length determined by the bid price per linear foot and available project budget.

The contract requires bidders to submit a total project cost, with the option to separate linear feet and control structure prices on a separate attachment. Bidders must sign and attach a Standard Affirmation & Disclosure Form through OhioBuys, and attend the pre-bid meeting to be considered eligible. The project emphasizes minimal environmental disruption, requiring contractors to use tracked machines or low-ground-pressure equipment to minimize rutting, and mandating careful backfilling, compaction, and seeding of any disturbed areas. The awarded contractor will be required to sign an Addendum to Bid Quote or Personal Services Agreement, with payment to be invoiced after project completion.
