About this file
This document is a Scope of Work for Hamilton DX Modular Furniture Customer Counters, involving the Ohio Department of Public Safety (DPS). The project entails fabrication and installation of new customer counters, with specific requirements for materials and installation. The contractor must use AIS Grade A Laminate or equivalent, with Haworth-specified materials for workstation walls, metal trim, counter tops, and customer-side laminate. All work is to be performed after hours and on weekends when the agency is closed, requiring coordination with the landlord and agency staff. The contractor must provide shop drawings to facadm@dps.ohio.gov for approval before fabrication and field verify all dimensions prior to production.
The scope requires the landlord to remove existing counters and provide power as needed. Upon installation, the counters must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure a pristine appearance. The project emphasizes careful coordination, precise material specifications, and minimal disruption to agency operations. No specific pricing, funding sources, or contract term details are provided in this document, which focuses primarily on the technical and logistical requirements for the customer counter installation project.
