About this file

This document is a Unit Developed Scope of Work for the Delta Fence Project by the 55th AMXS (Air Maintenance Squadron) at Offutt Air Force Base. The project requires installing a gate with a cipher lock in the hallway between Deltas 1 and 2 at the Bennie Davis Maintenance Facility to restrict unauthorized personnel access. The specific construction requirements include securing fence posts to the ground/walls, installing a chain-link fence, and implementing a KABA Simplex 1021B cipher lock or similar government-approved lock with a changeable code.

The contractor responsibilities encompass obtaining all necessary security and safety clearances, permits, and approvals, performing a mandatory pre-bid site visit, breaking down the bid into materials and labor line items, and completing the installation in compliance with federal safety standards. Additional requirements include cleaning and restoring the site within 10 workdays after project completion, removing debris, repairing any government property damage, and ensuring all work meets environmental and civil engineering regulations. Bonding may be required, and contractors must coordinate closely with the facility manager to schedule and execute the work.
