IT SUPPORT SERVICES, TONALEA DAY SCHOOL
The Contractor shall provide IT Support Service for Tonalea Day School, located in Tonelea, Arizona.
1.0 .Background:
The Bureau of Indian Education, Navajo Nation, serves as a branch of the State Edu.cation Agency (SEA) for several elementary and secondary schools and dormitories serving the Navajo Reservation students located in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. The Statement of work calls for IT services for a position not available in our budget and listed as a requested service in our IT plan. The purpose of our IT service is to meet the requirement for Technology availability to students to improve academic achievement of students in regular education and students with disabilities with strict accountability measures to hold schools, districts and states responsible for the academic results of regular students and students with disabilities.
2.0 Scope of Work:
Tonalea Day School students are in need of IT Support Services. The contractor shall provide personal owned vehicle travel reimbursement, supplies, materials and personnel to provide IT Services for Bureau of Indian Education school located on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation at Tonalea Day School in Tonalea, Arizona.
2.1 Location:
Place of Performance: Tonalea Day School, Tonalea, Arizona.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base and 4-1 year options.
3.0 General Requirements:
IT SUPPORT SERVICES:
1. Provide manage monthly IT support
2. Workstation/server hardware installation, configuration, management, and support.
2. Workstation/server software installations, configuration, and updating.
3. Printer, Scanner, Projector, and Document Camera installations, configuration, management, and support.
4. Network Switch installations, configurations, management, and support.
5. Wireless LAN Controller and Access Point management and support.
6. VoIP Telephony management and support. Video over IP management and support.
7. IP based Video Surveillance management and support.
8. Website management.
9. Network cabling maintenance and support (Cat6 and Fiber Optics)
10. Assistance with the procurement of technology products and services.
11. The contractor will manage all workload with an IT work order completed by the staff member needing IT assistance.
12. The contractor will submit the completed work order to Ms. Kaye with a description of the work completed.
13. The contractor will provide a monthly report of services provided with a description of equipment and BIA tag numbers that were replaced and where the equipment i� located and a summary of work completed.
14. The contractor will ensure the IT room is cleared of extra IT materials and supplies.
4.0 Government furnished Equipment & Information:
The contractor will work with the Indian Affairs Office of Information Management and Technology (OIMT) Navajo Region Field Support Manager (FSM) when needed for support. The contractor will sign in and out at the front office when entering the building. A card key will be assigned to the contractor whereby the contractor receives the card key after signing in. The card key will be returned daily when all work orders are completed. In the event the contractor

needs to enter a room not accessible with the card key, request the Principal, Secretary or Facility Technician for access.
Tonalea Day School will be accessible to the contractor Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. through 5:00 P.M. except on Federal Holidays and school closure due to emergencies.
5.0 Deliverables/Schedule:
6.0 Travel: All travel, mileage, taxes shall be included in the quote as an all-inclusive, firm fixed price.
7.0 Qualification(s) :
The Contractor shall provide key personnel that meet or exceed the following minimum requirements. Evidence of meeting these requirements shall be provided to the Government with the Contractor’s quote/proposal.
• Education: Educational course background, a Bachelor of Computer Science degree
• Experience: 1) 3years experience in computer support service, 2) comprehensive experience in the most complex Cisco, Microsoft and Networking and 3) experience working in educational environments to assist with teaching how to use educational technology effectively.
8.0 Security Requirement: Background clearance required.
