About this file
This document is a Scope of Work issued by the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) detailing comprehensive in-home technology installation and training services for an individual with significant disabilities pursuing a vocational goal in audio production. The project involves delivering professional installation, configuration, and customized training for adaptive and audio production equipment, including macOS software, JBL 305 Audio Monitors, Rode NT2-A Condenser Microphone, Ableton Live software, and specialized accessibility technologies. The service requires one to two technicians (an adaptive technology specialist and a conventional technology specialist) to complete the project over four to five days, totaling 25-35 hours of work at the client's residence.
The project is fully funded by the Department of Rehabilitation and focuses on empowering the client to achieve greater independence in music production through carefully designed technological integration. The scope includes comprehensive services such as software and hardware installation, ergonomic workstation setup, acoustical treatment, and training for both the client and primary caregiver. Key technologies include eye-gaze control software, potential future Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology integration, and a custom-engineered Rav Production Desk designed for ADA accessibility. The overall objective is to support the client's educational and employment opportunities in the music industry by providing a fully customized, accessible audio production environment.
