About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for a fall protection system re-certification project at Sacramento International Airport in California. The project involves removing and replacing existing jet bridge rooftop fall restraint systems with new OSHA-approved cable systems across 15 jet bridges, specifically located on 13 jet bridges in the TA area and 2 jet bridges (B12 and B14) in the CB area. All work must be performed in strict accordance with manufacturer requirements and OSHA regulations, including the installation of new identification tags for each system. The work will be conducted on the secure side of the airport, with an escort provided for access.

The state and local contract opportunity description indicates that the project requires furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work, with the understanding that actual quantities may vary at the discretion of the county. The contract appears to be a competitive bid process, with the scope focused on fall protection system upgrades that ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance. While specific pricing details are not provided in the document, the project involves comprehensive replacement of existing fall protection infrastructure at a major airport facility, suggesting a significant investment in safety and infrastructure maintenance.
