About this file

This Scope of Work details a wastewater manhole repair project on C Street, involving the replacement of an existing sanitary sewer manhole. The project requires the contractor to perform comprehensive infrastructure rehabilitation, including mobilization, traffic control, bypass pumping for two gravity sewer lines (12" and 24") and one forcemain (16"), and complete manhole reconstruction. Specific tasks include removing the existing manhole structure, excavating to the appropriate depth, installing a new concrete manhole base and two risers, connecting wastewater lines, and restoring the surface to its pre-existing condition.

The contractor must provide all necessary materials and equipment, including a concrete manhole base sized for existing pipe specifications, pipe fittings and adapters, bypass pumps (diesel or electric), and HDPE or lay-flat hose with associated valves and fittings. The project emphasizes continuous wastewater flow management through 24/7 bypass system monitoring and coordination with Base Utilities, ensuring that all technical requirements are met with minimal disruption to existing infrastructure.
