About this file
This Scope of Work details requirements for AASHTO R18 and ASTM C1077 Accreditation for a materials testing laboratory. The document outlines comprehensive accreditation programs across multiple material testing domains, including:
The scope requires annual participation in the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP), involving an on-site assessment for ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and providing extensive proficiency testing samples across categories such as aggregates, soil, asphalt, concrete, and cement. The laboratory's current accreditation spans multiple testing areas since 2001, with specific accreditations for Quality Management System (since 2/1/2001), Asphalt Binder, Emulsified Asphalt, Asphalt Mixture, Soil, Aggregate, and Concrete testing. The document details specific testing method codes for each accreditation area and specifies the requirement for on-site assessments, proficiency sample distribution, and technical support for standards development.
