About this file
This document is a comprehensive Scope of Services for Exterior Landscape Services issued by the West Basin Municipal Water District, covering landscape maintenance for multiple facilities from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028. The contract includes landscape services for four primary facilities: Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility, Juanita Millender-McDonald Carson Regional Water Recycling Plant, Honda Disinfection Station, and Chevron Nitrification Plant. Additionally, two satellite facilities (Palos Verdes Pipeline Master Meter and Lago Seco Pump Station) are included. The services encompass multiple landscape maintenance requirements such as lawn care, tree and shrub maintenance, weed control, irrigation system monitoring, mulching, and general site cleanliness, with specific frequency guidelines for different maintenance tasks.
The contract requires the landscape services contractor to supply all materials and labor, with an emphasis on maintaining high aesthetic standards across the facilities. The contractor will be responsible for tasks including manual and chemical weed control, pruning, fertilization, insect and disease monitoring, debris removal, and irrigation system maintenance. Notably, the contract specifies unique requirements for different facility types, including special considerations for California Friendly Gardens with native and drought-resistant plants. The contractor must provide monthly reports, emergency services, and obtain prior authorization for any work outside the defined scope. While specific pricing details are not provided in this document, the contract outlines extensive performance expectations and maintenance schedules for each facility.
