About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the State of Florida, Collier County, detailing awning replacement services at the Vanderbilt Beach Parking Garage following Hurricane Ian damage. The project involves replacing canvas awnings on two elevations of the parking garage: the west side awning measuring approximately 68 feet wide with 153 inches of canvas extending from wall plus 4 inches up the wall into the retainer strip, and the south side awning measuring approximately 29 feet wide with identical canvas specifications. Both awnings must meet current Hurricane wind load requirements established by Collier County and be fabricated in County Green color. The existing frames on both sides remain intact and require tightening, securing, and adjustment by the contractor. Contractors must be licensed as either General Contractors or awning fabrication and installation specialists, with final measurements to be confirmed during the bidding process.
The project scope specifies that the contractor shall provide canvas awnings meeting Collier County's current hurricane wind load standards. No specific pricing, timeline, set-asides, or contract terms are outlined in this scope document. The county has provided reference images to support the specification requirements, though detailed cost estimates, award dates, and contract duration information are not included in this document.
