About this file
This is a solicitation document from the Maine Military Authority for a one-year contract to purchase scissor jacks for FY09 HUMVEE production. The solicitation invites suppliers to bid on a specified list of scissor jacks with designated quantities, with contract award based on best price and lead time. Suppliers are permitted to submit bids for partial quantities or limited items if unable to provide the complete list. Winning bidders must provide product samples to verify conformance with federal specifications. The contract term is one year, with the State Purchasing Director retaining the right to extend the contract period beyond the expiration date with contractor consent.
Orders will be processed through AdvantageME for delivery orders against master agreements, unless payment is made via the State of Maine Procurement Card. Orders of $5,000 or less will be transmitted directly to vendors via email as PDF files by the using agency. Delivery orders exceeding $5,000 require workflow approval and encumbrance processing by the Division of Purchases Buyers, who will then email the PDF order to the vendor. The Division of Purchases Director reserves the right to cancel the contract with thirty days' written notice. No specific pricing structure, set-asides, or funding source information is detailed in this solicitation document.
