About this file

This document details insurance requirements for a consultant contract with the State of Connecticut, specifying comprehensive insurance coverage guidelines for the duration of the contract. The requirements mandate four distinct types of insurance coverage: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability, and Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions insurance.

The insurance requirements include specific coverage limits and detailed provisions for each insurance type. Commercial General Liability must provide $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, covering areas such as premises operations, completed operations, and contractual liability. Business Automobile Liability requires $1,000,000 combined single limit, encompassing non-owned and owned automobiles. Workers' Compensation follows Connecticut statutory requirements with $500,000 limits per accident and per disease. Professional Liability coverage mandates $2,000,000 per claim and aggregate, protecting against professional service-related wrongful acts and can be written on either an occurrence or claims-made basis.
