About this file

This document details insurance requirements for a contract with a Consultant, specifically for the State of Connecticut. The requirements outline four primary types of insurance coverage that the Consultant must procure and maintain for the entire contract duration: Commercial General Liability Coverage, Business Automobile Liability Coverage, Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Coverage, and Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions Coverage.

The insurance requirements specify precise coverage limits and types of protection. For Commercial General Liability, the coverage is $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, including provisions for premises/operations, products, underground/explosion hazards, contractual liability, independent contractors, and abuse & molestation liability. Business Automobile Liability is set at $1,000,000 combined single limit, covering non-owned and owned automobiles. Workers' Compensation follows Connecticut statutory requirements with $500,000 limits per accident and per disease. Professional Liability coverage is set at $2,000,000 per claim and aggregate, protecting against wrongful acts arising from professional services.
