About this file
This is a Service Level Agreement (SLA) document for nutritional services at two Michigan facilities: MVH CT (Michigan Valley Hospital Connecticut) and MVHDJJ (Michigan Valley Hospital Detention and Justice Facility). The agreement establishes performance standards and service expectations for food service operations, including meal preparation, nutritional compliance, dietary accommodation, and food safety protocols. The SLA defines operational metrics such as meal service hours, food temperature requirements, allergen management, menu variety, and quality assurance procedures. The contract specifies monitoring mechanisms through regular inspections, resident satisfaction surveys, and nutritional audits to ensure contractor compliance with state and institutional nutritional guidelines. Response to performance metrics includes established timelines for corrective actions when service standards are not met.
The agreement outlines performance penalties and remediation procedures for service failures, establishing clear accountability measures for the nutritional services contractor. Key performance indicators include food cost management, waste reduction targets, and compliance with dietary regulations for both general population and special dietary needs. The SLA incorporates reporting requirements and documentation standards for meal planning, inventory management, and nutritional analysis. Contract administration includes defined roles for institutional oversight personnel and contractor management staff, with escalation procedures for resolving service disputes or performance deficiencies.
