About this file
This is a Schedule B Pricing Matrix document for a Request For Proposal issued by the State of Michigan (RFP 180000002055) regarding site preparation and mulching services at the Tree Improvement Center. The project encompasses approximately 29 total acres divided into two distinct work categories: 18 acres requiring cost-per-acre pricing for felled trees and standing brush without timber removal, and 11 acres requiring cost-per-acre pricing for standing timber and brush removal. Contractors must submit pricing in a modifiable format (Microsoft Word or Excel) with the option to also submit a non-modifiable PDF version. Failure to complete the pricing matrix as requested may result in proposal disqualification.
All proposed pricing must include complete project costs covering the full scope of work through the appointed completion date, incorporating all incidentals, one-time charges, setup fees, and ancillary costs such as shipping, handling, and any per-piece pricing. Contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment discount terms, specifying both the discount percentage and the number of days from invoice receipt for payment eligibility. Award of contract will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, provided the bid does not exceed available funding. The State intends to preserve the original full scope of work but reserves the right to decrease it accordingly. This project is not subject to prevailing wage rate requirements.
