About this file

This is a pricing schedule (Schedule B) for Request for Proposal No. 260000002536 issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for Snow and Ice Removal Services at the Cadillac Customer Service Center. The contract requires contractors to provide comprehensive snow and ice removal services including plowing and shoveling of parking lots, driving areas, sidewalks, and entrances when snow accumulation equals or exceeds three inches. Additional services include application of contractor-supplied, program manager-approved deicer to sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots during hazardous ice conditions, as well as application of sand to parking lots and driveways as needed. Services must be performed automatically before 7:00 a.m., during building occupancy hours, or on-call as requested by the Program Manager. The contract also includes accumulated snow removal services using heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, bucket trucks, and dump trucks to maintain adequate parking spaces. All snow removal equipment, deicer, and sand must be provided by the contractor.

Contractors must submit pricing using Schedule B in a modifiable format such as Microsoft Word or Excel, with an option to include a non-modifiable PDF version. The pricing schedule requires contractors to provide a price per occasion for three service categories: automatic plowing and shoveling services (estimated at 20 occasions per year), automatic and on-call deicing services (estimated at 6 occasions per year), and on-call accumulated snow removal services (estimated at 2 occasions per year). Contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment terms with a specified discount percentage for invoices paid within a stated number of days of receipt. The initial contract term is three years, with the total year one cost multiplied by three to calculate the three-year total. Proposal prices must include all costs, including one-time charges, setup fees, shipping, handling, and any other potential charges. Contractors must certify that prices were developed independently without consultation or agreement with other contractors, and failure to complete the pricing schedule as requested may result in proposal disqualification.
