About this file

This is a Schedule B Pricing document for Request For Proposal No. 190000003128 issued by the State of Michigan for Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) Equipment. The proposal requests a single integrated CPT system comprising three main components: a CPT Push System capable of mounting to a Bobcat T770 skid steer with 20 tons of push force and 26 tons of retraction force; a CPT Cone System including two 50-meter cables, two 20-ton digital piezocones with tri-axial geophones, and associated filters, tips, and friction sleeves; and a CPT Data Acquisition and Analysis Package with portable, water-resistant data acquisition hardware compatible with Windows 10 laptops and software for acquiring, processing, and plotting CPT data. The vendor must provide three days of onsite training at MDOT's Geotechnical Services Office in Lansing, Michigan, with subsequent sessions at various project locations throughout Michigan's lower peninsula. All components—push system, cones, and data acquisition system—must be manufactured by a single United States-based vendor.

Contractors must submit pricing schedules in modifiable format (Microsoft Word or Excel) that include all costs such as one-time charges, shipping, handling, and training. Price proposals must be independently developed without consultation with other contractors. Contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment terms with a specified discount percentage if invoices are paid within a stated number of days after receipt. The vendor must provide technical support for the lifetime of the equipment, and shipping and training costs must be included in the total price submission.
