About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Service Contract Act, effective December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5253, Revision 28).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in eight Texas counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson. It provides hourly wage rates for 341 occupational classifications organized across 16 major occupation categories, including Administrative Support and Clerical Occupations (ranging from $15.29 to $38.74 per hour), Automotive Service Occupations ($16.43 to $23.45 per hour), Food Preparation and Service Occupations ($13.04 to $20.79 per hour), Health Occupations ($13.76 to $50.21 per hour), Information Technology Occupations ($21.91 to $33.62 per hour), and various technical and skilled trades. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits totaling $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $222.00 weekly/$962.00 monthly) or $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706. Additional provisions include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually, and special pay differentials for hazardous work (8 percent for high-degree hazard and 4 percent for low-degree hazard). The wage determination applies to all contractors and subcontractors performing services under contracts subject to the Service Contract Act, with uniform allowances required to be furnished at no cost to employees or reimbursed at established rates.
