Roof Drain Main. And Repair

Q. Will there be union requirements for the project?

A. The federal government doesn’t have a requirement that contractors be represented by a union.

Q. Is there an estimated start date for when work on the project will actually begin?

A. The Period of performance is indicted within the Solicitation Line Items.

Q. The SF1442 says a bid bond is required, but on page 75 of the RFP says one is not required.

A. Proof of Bonding will be required prior to project start date. However, no official bonding required with submission of proposal.

Q. The SF1442 lists 8/18/2017 as the due date, but the RFP lists 8/11/2017 several places.

A. 8/18/2017 is the Proposal due date. 8/11/2017 is the RFI due date.

Q. Where should the form on page 4 of the RFP to be submitted?

A. Submit to the marc.zurasky@nist.gov

Q. Many clients do not wish to fill out duplicated Past Performance Questionnaires. Please consider accepting existing PPQ’s with the proposal.

A. Send Past Performance Questionnaires that are recent and relevant as defined in the evaluation criteria.

Q. Is there a count for how many drains there are.

A. See RFI Attachment.

Q. Is there a count for how many of the roofs are sloped.

Q. Is there a count for how many roofs have gutters.

Q. The pricing on the roof repairs is not entirely clear. Can it be better defined to included square footage, roofing type etc. to allow better comparison pricing or is a breakdown with our assumptions how we should be pricing.
