Amendment 0001 to RFQ SB1341-16-RP-0014

Amendment 0001 to Request for Proposals (RFP) SB1341-16-RP-0014 incorporates questions received in response to RFP SB1341-16-RP-0014. The questions and respective answers are as follows:

Industry Question 1: Section II - SCOPE:

The Contractor shall have access to equipment and personnel to perform the welding and welding inspection. The Task Order performance specifications govern both the welding and the inspection process. Is this referenced inspection service requirement referring to the Non Destructive Testing? If so, how do we account for and provide our cost for the required inspection services as the Pricing Schedule provided does not allow for such?

NIST Response to Industry Question 1: Yes, the inspection service requirement is referring to the Non Destructive Testing. It is expected that this pricing will be incorporated in any subsequent Task Order(s) against the IDIQ.

Industry Question 2: Section III - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Contractor must collect, drain water from, and place all radiological waste collected during the cleaning process in a manner suitable for waste disposal. NIST shall supply containers (e.g.55 gallon drums) for disposal of radioactive material. Again, this referenced work is in addition to the provided Pricing Schedule. How do we account for and provide our cost for this specified work? In addition, is there any special environmental requirements and/or special certified personnel required for this referenced work?

NIST Response to Industry Question 2: It is expected that this pricing will be incorporated in any subsequent Task Order Request for Quotations (TORFQ) against the IDIQ. NIST is responsible for any disposal of radiological or hazardous waste collected during the performance of any work performed at

NCNR.

Industry Question 3: How long is this NCNR Radiation Safety Training and are we to incorporate the NCNR Radiation Safety Training time into our Pricing Schedule?

NIST Response to Industry Question 3: The NCNR Radiation Safety Training should not exceed one

(1) day.

Industry Question 4: If the issued Task Order will require the Contractor to supply materials and equipment (i.e. pipes, pipe fittings, valves etc. and equipment such as pumps with driven source, heat exchangers, flow measuring devices etc., over and above welding materials and equipment), how will contractor be compensated for these items above and beyond the Pricing Schedule being provided??

NIST Response to Industry Question 4: It is expected that this pricing will be incorporated in any subsequent Task Order Request for Quotations (TORFQ) against the IDIQ.

Industry Question 5: Is it possible that the date could be extended?

NIST Response to Industry Question 5: The response date has been extended to July 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
