About this file

This is Addendum #1 to a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the City of Lawrenceville, Georgia for the purchase of residential and light commercial natural gas regulators for the Lawrenceville Gas Department. The City is seeking qualified suppliers for an annual contract with four renewal options. Bids must be received by 2:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Lawrenceville City Hall, Finance Department, 70 S. Clayton Street Main Level, Room M46A, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. All bids must be submitted in duplicate in sealed containers marked with the solicitation number and company name. Questions regarding the bid must be directed to the City of Lawrenceville Purchasing Division at purchasing@lawrencevillega.org or 678-407-6420 no later than 3:00 P.M. on March 13, 2026.

The addendum addresses two critical specifications for bidders: the regulators must be supplied in angle body orientation, which impacts lead times, and individual regulators may be separated using cardboard dividers within the master carton rather than requiring individual boxes for each unit. Bidders are required to acknowledge this addendum in their submitted bids. Kenneth Morris, the City's Purchasing Director, issued the addendum on March 19, 2026, providing clarification on product specifications five days prior to the bid deadline.
