About this file

This document is an Addendum #2 to the SB009-25 Lawrenceville Wayfinding Signs Project, a state and local contract opportunity in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The scope of work includes traffic control, demolition, site work, concrete work, and the provision and installation of new wayfinding and parking signs. The project requires 28 wayfinding signs, including 4 new signs with poles and reinforced concrete foundations, and 17 new parking signs. Contractors must provide shop drawings for City review before production and match the proposed new signage with the existing downtown signage. The contract requires a 1-year contractor warranty and a 5-year manufacturer warranty on materials and workmanship. Contractors will be required to obtain a permit from the City of Lawrenceville and account for associated fees.

The contract documents indicate that all signage will be installed within the City of Lawrenceville right-of-way. The City intends to award a single contract for this project, and there is no indication of any set-aside requirements or incumbent contractor. Funding for the project is not explicitly stated, but the contractor is expected to comply with all federal, state, and local requirements and specifications, including the latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
