About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for precision cleaning and calibration services of mission-critical flight and ground support hardware at Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

KSC requires contractor support to perform precision cleaning in accordance with KSC-provided specifications, standards, and contamination-control requirements, and to conduct calibration of gauges, load pins, and measurement hardware to KSC/NASA technical requirements. The contractor must return all cleaned and calibrated items with required certification, documentation, and traceable quality records; follow KSC protocols for handling, packaging, contamination control, and clean-side transfer; and coordinate schedules, pickups, and deliveries with designated KSC personnel. Critically, the contractor shall make no substitutions of soft goods or hardware, as KSC will provide all specialized soft goods, O-rings, seals, gaskets, kits, and any unique or proprietary hardware needed to support cleaning or calibration operations, along with applicable technical specifications and acceptance criteria for each hardware category. The contractor's deliverables include cleaned and calibrated hardware meeting KSC acceptance criteria, a certification package for each item, and status reporting and communication updates as coordinated with the KSC-identified coordinator.
